to report «iusnews»; Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel has called the Israeli massacre of Palestinians a new horrifying holocaust, saying that nothing can justify the blatant violation of human rights in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

Diaz-Canel said in a video message published on his X (formerly Twitter) account that the people of Cuba will not remain indifferent in the face of the Israeli regime's atrocities and will take part in the Day of Action for Palestine on March 2.

The Cuban president wrote: “Cuba joins the global mobilization in support of Palestine on March 2nd. In all provinces and in Havana, we will take to the streets in solidarity with our brotherly people and condemn the Holocaust that 'Israel' aims to cause in Rafah. Everyone for Gaza!”

Addressing the Israeli regime, he asserted that brutality is enough, abuse is enough, and impunity is enough.

He also explained that the Gaza Strip has turned into a camp for killing people and the largest open-air prison in the world, calling on the criminal regime to put down weapons, allow people to express themselves, and stop killing innocent civilians, because nothing can justify the flagrant violation of human rights in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

The Cuban president also slammed the United States’ veto of UN Security Council ceasefire resolutions as an act of hypocritical imperialism, saying that Washington is the culprit in the Gaza massacre because of adopting such an undemocratic and cruel approach.
