Amiri Moghaddam in a message on his X socoal account congratulated the election of "Shahbaz Sharif" as the new prime minister of Pakistan with the majority of the votes of the National Assembly members.
He said “I would like to express my warmest congrats on the election of Shahbaz Sharif as the 24th Pakistan PM following a successful election".
He added that Iran declares its readiness to expand all-out relations and bilateral cooperation with Pakistan.
"I wish peace, security & stability for the years to come for our brotherly country of Pakistan," he further wrote
Sharif who was the consensus candidate of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) was elected as the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the second time in a row by the majority vote of the new parliament members of this country.
