IRGC Chief: World More United Than Ever Against US

Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami slammed Washington’s decades-long enmity towards his country, and further said that the world is united against the United States’ policies more than ever.

to report «iusnews»; Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami slammed Washington’s decades-long enmity towards his country, and further said that the world is united against the United States’ policies more than ever.

Addressing a ceremony in Tehran on Thursday, Maj. Gen. Salami stated that “the bloody nature” of US policies is now disclosed to the nations more than any time in the history.

Amid the continuation of Washington-backed Zionist regime's relentless bombardment of the besieged Gaza Strip, the IRGC chief stressed the United States grandeur has been severely undermined in the international arena and the world today is united against Americans more than ever.

He described the US, the UK and Israel as "inseparable parts of an obvious conspiracy”, emphasizing that they act in three separate geographical parts of the world but with coherently developed policies.

The military official emphasized the Zionists occupied Palestine some 75 years ago through acts of terror and crime and are currently drawing up plans to spread political ignorance among the youths in the Muslim world.

However, the IRGC chief said, the arrogant powers will fail in their bid to deceive the Muslim nations across the world. The enemies would never clinch a victory in the Gaza Strip, he pointed out.

Salami added the developments in the Gaza Strip have prompted Muslims to take revenge on Israel for decades of cruelty and oppression, stressed that the blockade and massacre of a nation amount to a crime not victory.

Hours after the Hamas military operation against Israel in early October, American and European officials promised rock-solid and unwavering support to Tel Aviv. In recent weeks, President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and several others European leaders also visited Tel Aviv to show their support for Israel.

Tehran says the Western leaders' trips to the occupied territories are aimed at giving artificial respiration to dying Israel and demonstrate the US' and Europe's concerns over the downfall of the Zionist regime.

The US has pledged unwavering support for Israel as its military pummels Gaza with bombardment. Washington has announced it will provide Tel Aviv with everything it needed.

Washington has made major shows of force in the Middle East since Hamas’ October 7 raid on Israel, deploying two aircraft carrier strike groups to the Mediterranean, as well as an amphibious assault ship carrying 2,000 sailors and marines. US officials have claimed the moves were meant to deter outside actors from taking part in the Gaza war.

Iranian officials say the United States is waging a war on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip through Israel, and cautions that the current status in West Asia resembled a powder keg which could spiral out of control.

Tehran warns that any Israeli “miscalculation” in proceeding with the policy of genocide and forced displacement of Palestinian people in Gaza will have “bitter consequences” for West Asia and the interests of warmongers.

Iran says a new world order in favor of the Resistance Front and independent countries is emerging, as the power of the United States continues to wane and its clout are visible more than ever before. Tehran also adds the balance of power has long shifted against the interests of the Zionist regime.

Iranian officials believe the future of the world will not witness unilateralism, and multilateralism will spread across the globe. They stress that the future of the world and region will be shaped by regional countries and organizations, as a growing number of states across the globe have rejected unilateralism and coercion. They asked independent states to challenge the US hegemony in the region and around the world, and stressed that domineering behavior is not just special to Democrats or Republicans but in the nature of American policies.

Iranian military officials have also stressed that Washington has weakened to the extent that it plays no role in the West Asia region’s geopolitical landscape. They stated that Iran has defeated the US which enjoyed unrivalled hegemony in the region and the whole world before the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, but after the revolution they were forced to flee the region.

Officials in Iran say Washington cannot go ahead with its plan in the West Asia region as its schemes are doomed to fail, and add that Iran plays a key role in the political decisions of the United States and the fate of the White House is affected by Tehran's attitude.
