A previous statement by the UN Humanitarian Affairs Office (OCHA) said 171 Palestinians were killed in the West Bank in 2022 by Israeli forces and settlers.
Tensions have been high across the West Bank since fighting broke out October 7 between Palestinian groups and Israel in Gaza.
The Palestinian Prisoners Society also said Tuesday that the number of Palestinians arrested by Israel in the West Bank since October 7 has risen to more than 3,290. The list includes 125 women and 145 children, the group said.
At least 168 Palestinians have been detained in the five days during the ongoing humanitarian pause in the Gaza Strip. Six Palestinian detainees have died in Israeli prisons since the conflict started, it added.
Israel launched a massive military campaign in the Gaza Strip following a cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7. It has since killed over 15,000 people, including 6,150 children and 4,000 women, according to health authorities in the enclave.
The official Israeli death toll stands at 1,200.
