to report «iusnews»; Iranian President Seyed Ebrahim Rayeesi said that the Israeli massacre of civilians in the Gaza Strip has uncovered the real face of the fake advocates of human rights.
President Rayeesi stated on Thursday that the genocide and killing of children in Gaza have raised “serious questions” about Western powers' human rights claims and clearly showed “the inefficiency of international organizations”.
Israel has been carrying out heavy bombardment across the Gaza Strip since early October, killing more than 27,800 Palestinians, including thousands of children and women, and wounding over 67,000 others, and levelling entire neighbourhoods. Thousands more are missing and feared buried under the rubble. Tel Aviv has also imposed a "complete siege" on Gaza, cutting off food, electricity, fuel and water supplies. The move has plunged the blockaded territory into a humanitarian crisis.
Iranian officials have underlined the US, the UK and many European countries are complicit in the Zionist regime's criminal acts against the Palestinian people. They underscored that the United States is waging a war on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip through Israel, and stress if Washington’s political and military aid to Zionists is cut off, the regime won’t be able to proceed its military campaign against the blockaded territory.
Tehran announced that the Gaza war laid bare the inefficiency of several global organizations as they failed to stop the Zionist regime’s war machine in the besieged enclave, calling on the international bodies to adopt serious and deterrent measures to prevent further the Israeli regime’s crimes against Gazans, instead of issuing statements.
"We are confident that the blood of the martyrs of Gaza and Palestine will mark the end of the Zionist regime and the current unjust [world] order," Iran’s president added.
