to report «iusnews»; Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement Seyed Hassan Nasrallah said that the Zionist regime has gotten stuck in a strategic crisis and has achieved none of its objectives in the battlefield in the Gaza Strip, expressing confidence that the Palestinian nation and resistance factions will eventually emerge victorious.

In a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian in Beirut on Saturday, Nasrallah praised the unflinching support offered by Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei as well as the Iranian government and nation for Palestine.

Pointing to the high combat readiness as well as the utmost unison and interaction among all forces of the Axis of Resistance, he stressed the regime is faced with “a strategic crisis” and has failed to gain any of its declared goals for the Gaza war.

Nasrallah described the resistance front as an important playmaker in regional equations, adding, “The victory of the Palestinian nation and the resistance front is certain and definite.”

Israel has been carrying out heavy bombardment across the Gaza Strip since early October, killing nearly 28,000 Palestinians, including thousands of children and women, and wounding almost 68,000 others, and levelling entire neighbourhoods. Thousands more are missing and feared buried under the rubble. Tel Aviv has also imposed a "complete siege" on Gaza, cutting off food, electricity, fuel and water supplies. The move has plunged the blockaded territory into a humanitarian crisis.

Palestinian forces have in recent months taken Israel by surprise on the battlefield across the Gaza Strip by inflicting heavy losses on Israeli troops. The Palestinian resistance movements say they do not face a shortage of munitions and other military equipment, and are ready for a long battle with the Zionist regime.

During the meeting, Amir Abdollahian stated that recognition of the Axis of Resistance as the main party in proposed political initiatives attests to the significant role that the umbrella group plays in Palestine and the entire West Asia region.

“The Palestinian resistance front has acted wisely and authoritatively both on the path of resilience and a political solution [to the Gaza conflict],” he continued.

“In any political initiative, the role of Palestinians and consensus among Palestinian leaders and groups should be taken into serious consideration,” the minister emphasized.
