to report «iusnews»; The leader of Yemen's Ansarullah movement has deplored the West, the US in particular, for their claims to be defender of women’s rights, questioning them for their silence on the killing of oppressed women in the Gaza Strip by the Zionist army.
Where are the women's rights that the West insists on? Abdul-Malik al-Houthi asked in his speech on Thursday, referring to the ongoing barbaric Israeli crimes against Gaza residents, especially women.
"The occupying Israeli regime kidnap Palestinians, both children and women and execute them mercilessly and so why does not the West repeat the slogan of women's rights in this regard?”, he emphasized.
Al-Houthi clarified however that the US and its Western allies do not use the slogan of supporting women's rights except in immoral or trivial contexts or to disintegrate a society from within.
He censured the United States, Britain and major European countries for providing all kinds of support to the Zionist regime to commit crimes in Gaza.
He particularly criticized the US for vetoing the latest UN Security Council resolution drafted by Alegria that called for a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza, the third time that Washington took such measure since the Gaza war broke out in early October.
Elsewhere in in his remarks, the Ansarullah chief also criticized Arab countries for not supporting the Palestinian people.
“Why are most countries, regimes and governments standing and watching and even some of them are accomplices in the Zionist crimes or secretly supporting the regime.
Abdul-Malik al-Houthi pointed out that the silence of most governments has emboldened the Zionist enemy to continue its crimes against Palestinians and intensify its siege of Gaza.
