This ceremony was held with the presence of domestic and foreign officials and personnel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Mashq Square at the foreign ministry premises in the capital city of Tehran.

Former Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, the Iranian Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani, the Iranian Parliment Speaker Maohammad Bagher Ghalibaf were also present in this ceremony.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kan'ani and the former Speaker of the Parliament of Iran Ali Larijani have also attended this ceremony.
The presence of foreign delegations in Iran to pay tribute to martyrs was a sign of the growth and success of the neighborhood policy, the Iranian Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani told Mehr News on the sidelines of the funeral.
Also, Iranians gather in Tehran to bid farewell to FM Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who will be buried in the shrine of Shah Abdol-Azim in the town of Shahr-Rey south of the capital.
