Its drafts have been discussed and within the framework of the common political will to sign it in order to strengthen the friendly and constructive relations of the two countries, he said, adding that the drafts of the document have been finalized in the last round of legal and technical negotiations between the two countries.
"The final signing of this document has a legal process," Kan'ani stressed.
He further added that Russian President Vladimir Putin has invited his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian to attend the upcoming BRICS summit in Kazan.
"We have received Mr. Putin's invitation from Mr. Pezeshkian for the upcoming BRICS summit," he said.
There is an opportunity to exchange opinions between the officials of the two sides, and the comprehensive long-term agreement can be signed in the future, he added.
The most important BRICS Summit will be held in Kazan, Russia, from October 22nd to 24th.
