to report «iusnews»; Yemen has blasted the United States for designating the Ansarullah resistance movement as a terrorist organization, saying Washington is the one who practices terrorism against many countries.
In a statement reported by Al-Masirah on late on Saturday, the Yemeni Foreign Ministry said the designation is an illegal act that will make it lose its credibility in the eyes of most countries in the world.
“Washington is the one who practices terrorism against many countries, the latest of which is supporting Zionist terrorism, which has left thousands of martyrs and wounded in Gaza,” the statement read.
Yemen has openly supported Palestine’s struggle in the face of the Zionist regime’s war on the besieged Gaza Strip, which began on October 7 after Palestinian resistance groups carried out a retaliatory operation into the occupied territories.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have conducted strikes in the Red Sea against Israeli ships as well as vessels sailing toward the occupied territories, forcing some of the world’s biggest shipping and oil companies to suspend transit through the strategic route.
The Zionist regime’s deadly war on Gaza has so far killed at least 28,775 people, including more than 12,300 children and 8,400 women.
