A letter to our freedom-seeker brothers and sisters in universities of USA
As-Salamu Alaykum
Your loud and expressive voice reached the awakened consciences of the world! As a small part of the world’s students, we appreciate you for your brave acts in supporting the oppressed but powerful people of Palestine.
You broke the 70-year silence against the crimes of the Zionists. In the power struggle with the Zionist lobbies and their politicians in their pockets, you won! You have publicly condemned the Zionists for the first time in the United States. These are achievements that you will probably tell your grandchildren with pride!
The genocide committed by the Israel regime and the cleansing of the Palestinian land from its original inhabitants and owners, have been happening for more than 70 years. For 76 years, the media seduced people of the West that Israel is a very lovable entity and its army soldiers are even more lovable and harmless! But October 7 showed the truth. All their plans and arrangements collapsed with a counter attack by Hamas.
Al-Aqsa storm was a counterattack against 70 years of cruelty, 70 years of land theft, 70 years of killing fathers and mothers, 70 years of killing children and grandchildren, 70 years of lack of water, food and medicine, 70 years of humiliation, 70 years of oppression, 70 years of captivity and life in the biggest open prison, 70 years of being convicted without holding a trial.
Israel appeared in a land where 90% of its inhabitants was gentile. It had an established sovereignty and Government. The parents of its people were buried in the same land. But with the help of Britain and the USA, Israel was born and gradually kicked out the original residents.
Israel usurped the lands, and in order to fill the usurped lands, asked the Jews around the world to join it in this land theft, becoming a partner and defending usurped lands with guns. This land theft is not only for 70 years ago, even nowadays thousands of settlement are being built for the Zionists in the West Bank and Palestinian territory. This is why Israel never officially declares its border, because pro claiming the border puts limits for them to build the land from the Nile to the Euphrates!
You, free-spirited students, requested a ceasefire and cutting off economic relations with the Israeli army and related companies. Our question to you freedom-seekers is, is it enough to ask for a ceasefire and stopping support for Israel? Don’t you feel that the usurped house should be returned to its original owners? Isn’t it time for 6 million Palestinians to return to their homelands? Isn’t the two-state solution like handing over the stolen property to the thief? Can we expect that the regime that has been humiliating Palestinians in its schools for more than 70 years and considering them to be inferior human beings or animals will change its ways and behavior with the original inhabitants of Palestine in two-state solution?
Isn’t it better that the fate of the land of Palestine be determined by the hands of its original inhabitants; Muslims, Christians, and Jews? Isn’t it better for all real Palestinians (regardless of color, race, and religion (around the world to say what they want about Palestine?
We hope that this uprising of yours against the oppression of Israel with all hardships inflicting on you will not end.
Stay strong and seek the truth
