The Historical Force of Ashura within Iran’s Social Context

The Historical Force of Ashura within Iran’s Social Context

The Ashura-inspired nation of Iran on the ۲۲nd of Dey ۱۴۰۴ is the same united nation of the period of the ۱۲-day war, throughout the eight years of the Sacred Defense, and through the ups and downs of the past ۴۷ years in overcoming seditions and sanctions and prevailing over internal and external threats, which, based on that undeniable reality of Iranian society, demonstrated the deep bond between the nation and the Imam of the society.

to report «iusnews»; What unfolded on the streets of Iran over the past weeks indicated a complex security and political design whose primary objective was an attempt to create a full-scale civil war in the country through the implementation of a project of engineered killings, aimed at weakening and fragmenting Iran, and in the next stage, extending hands toward Iran’s resources. The main difference of the sedition that was carried out against Iran this time was that the President of the United States personally entered the field to guide and lead the riot-instigating currents and directly took charge of directing the seditionists. This was while in other projects against Iran, American and European officials, as much as possible, guided the riots from behind the scenes and did not enter the unrest so openly.

A sedition that, however, with the timely intervention of the people, disrupted a significant part of the complex American–Zionist design and managed to cause the failure of this planning and the neutralization of the actions of the terrorist current. This intervention, which took shape in the form of the Basij force and other law enforcement and military forces, began from the very early hours of the terrorists’ brutal and sabotage-driven actions and was marked by the sacrifice of their blood. Ultimately, in the great epic of the 22nd of Dey, it once again actualized the historic force of Ashura at the level of Iranian society in order to overcome foreign political wills and internal counter-revolutionary elements.

Based on historical sociology, due to the living and dynamic social power that Ashura has been able to generate, this truth has turned into a historical continuum, and it is history itself that is Ashura-oriented; and more than Ashura being a historical event, it is history that has become the ground for the manifestation of Ashura.

The Ashura-inspired nation of Iran on the 22nd of Dey 1404 is the same united nation of the period of the 12-day war, throughout the eight years of the Sacred Defense, and through the ups and downs of the past 47 years in overcoming seditions and sanctions and prevailing over internal and external threats, which, based on that undeniable reality of Iranian society, demonstrated the deep bond between the nation and the Imam of the society.

Reminding society of the realities of Iran, in fact, breaks the spell of the incorrect and incomplete image-making that, due to the intertwining of life with diverse media and numerous social networks, is formed in the social mindset and causes us to analyze society more through an image constructed of reality than through the reality of the lived field itself.

The epic of the 22nd of Dey was able to recall the historical forward-driving power of Ashura in society, so that once again the Iranian nation—just as during the Islamic Revolution and also the eight-year and twelve-day Sacred Defense—could witness before its own eyes the historical dominance of Ashura culture, seeing how the historical force arising from Ashura overcomes the political and human wills of the Pharaohs of the time and shatters them all.
